Blog Award!!!

[butterflyaward.png]

So Apparently I am super cool!  Woo hoo!!  I was nominated for the coolest blog by one of my dear friends ALLY, and now I get to nominate my favorite 5 blogs.

1.  MINDY
I have known Mindy since I was 13, she was my sisters best friend and is now married to my brother.  I have always looked up to her and have been able to go to her for help or advice for anything.  She has always been there for me and I love her dearly!! She recently moved to Idaho, so I haven't been able to see her or even talk to her quite as much. Which is one reason I LOVE her blog.  I love being able to keep up to date on the family.  She is always inspiring and has very meaningful and spiritual stories to share .  I always feel uplifted when I am around her, so naturally I would feel the same way when reading her blog. She is a great example to me and I am so lucky to have her as a sister. Love you MINDY!!

2. Allyson
I know this is kind of silly since Ally is the one who nominated me...but her blog really is one of my favorites.  I have known her since I was 13 as well, and we have always been really close.  We have had some great memories...Ally and Zach went to a school dance together once and I am pretty sure he had a big crush on her at one time! He just confirmed. He DID have abig crush on her!  I am and always will be so grateful for the friend that she has always been to me.  As we have gotten older and had families of our own, it has become harder and harder to keep in touch with good friends.  That is why I love her blog!  Ally and I can talk all of the time on our blogs! Love you Alls!

3.Tera
I have not always been super close with Tera...only because I didn't think she liked me.  Of course this was not true!! I apparently had/have a complex where I think people hate me all the time???  Tera has lived in another state since shortly after I got married, so we never got to know each other as we should have...as sisters. She has been able to visit a few times and we have become family!!  Tera has recently started blogging and  again...it is so nice to keep in touch with the people you love.   I love feeling that I can be a part of what is going on with her and her sweet family.  One thing I love about Tera:  I was having a bad day...  I was crying, and Tera came in and gave me a hug.  She talked to me for a while, and helped me to work everything out.  It meant a lot to me, especially because I thought she didn't like me.  How silly I was back then.  I am so grateful for her and for the wonderful person that she is.  Love you Tera!

4. Melissa
I have known Melissa since high school.  I don't remember the age because we were not friends, I just knew who she was through passing.  We were in orchestra together for one year and we were in the same seminary class when I was a senior.  I remember thinking Melissa was mean...and a BIG flirt.  You can imagine my suprise when I realized she would be my sister in law.  Great.  Well..obviously I was completely wrong about her.  You should never judge..I learned this first hand!  Melissa is one of the greatest people I know.  Zach and I had to live at Zachs dads house for a few months and Melissa and her family lived downstairs, so we very quickly became great friends.  We would share dinners, and go shopping together.  I am so grateful for all the help she has given me over the years.  And it has been a lot.  Whether sending me hand-me downs so that my girls have beautiful clothes to wear, or just talking to me when I cant hold in my crying, I know I can talk to her about anything or go to her with anything.   She lives in Buckeye..(much better than the Hawaii she lived in last year) but it is still hard to get together.  She is a great person and I am so grateful for her and her blog!.  Love you Lissa!!

5.  Joele
I picked Joele for a different reason than everyone else.  She doesn't live far away..in fact she lives right around the corner!  We have been in the same ward since I moved here and I absolutely adore her.  I have a hard time making new friends, if it weren't for Zach, I don't know that I would have any!  I was Joele's visiting teacher for over a year, so I was able to get to know her.  She was one that you didn't HAVE to go teach, she was one that you wanted to go because you loved her and the wonderful spirit that she has.  I would never have known how funny she is if I didn't get to visit her and read all of her funny blogs.  There are a few people out here in Queen Creek that have made a difference in my life and Joele is one of them.  Love you Joele!

Hey Tai! You are so sweet. I loved your post. Not only because I am in it :) But because I also love Mindy and it was fun to hear about your other friends, too. I'm pretty sure I had a little crush on Zach, too, but I'm glad nothing ever happened so we can still be friends now!

Tai, Okay totally blog searching. Found you from Ally. It's still crazy to me that you and Zach are married. I remember running into you, I think it was at Nicole's wedding reception, and thinking it was crazy that you and Zach had gotten married. I always smile when I think of you, and your gorgeous VOICE!!! Melissa

Love you too Tai! Sorry I am not a better blogger...totally blaming it on the lack of internet access. :)
