Old Navy Cardi Party!

Ok family....you should be really jealous.  I keep trying to get you all to come and visit me in New Mexico and you have officially missed out!  I have told you all about Crowdtap and the awesome opportunities it gives to try new things for free....well, I had the opportunity to be a part of Old Navy's cardi party!  What is a cardi party you might ask?  I got to take 3 of my friends ( could have been family...just sayin.) to Old navy for a free cardian of their choice!  But it didnt stop there....we all got a free skirt and scarf too!  Do I sound like a game show host yet?  haha.  It was soooo much fun! We all decided to leave our kids at home and make an afternoon of it.  I ended up bringing Logan though because he seemed to think that he would have more fun waiting while a bunch of girls tried on new clothes, than he would have had watching a movie during quiet time. So, I brought him along, and it was great because then I had someone to take pictures of us in our cute new outfits. :)  He actually  had a lot of fun too because they had a basketball hoop station and bean bag toss, so he kept himself pretty busy.  The staff even played with him.  How fun is that? All in all it was so much fun and we all got some super cute outfits!  Old Navy has the CUTEST pencil skirts right now, they are longer than I would have thought they were, and they were really flattering on.  I ended up getting a super cute chevron skirt that I have had my eye on, a purple floral scarf and purple cardigan.  I know you are all surprised that I went with purple lol.....I couldnt help myself!  After our shopping spree, we went out to eat at Johnny Rockets.  One of my friends paid for all of us to have lunch, which I thought was really nice.

Dont I have cute friends?  This is Camille, her husband is in Med school right now, so you can imagine Zach and her husband have a lot to talk about.  She is always so nice and makes super good brownies.  you know I have to be her friend just for that. :)
This is Miriam.  She is the one that is going to start having me watch her little girl starting in a few weeks.  She used to live in AZ, even knows one of my high school friends.  Small world isnt it?

Here is Logan at the basketball hoop station in Old Navy.

I really liked the yellow cardigan, but I had to go with the purple!  and see that purple scarf?  Thats the one I decided to get! cute huh!?

Miriam shopping for the perfect shoes. :)
Kelly had a last minute work problem so I had to take her on a seperate day.  that is why she isnt in any of the pictures with the rest of us girls.  Isnt she cute though?  I loved her scarf.
This pencil skirt was adorable.  I really want to go back and get it!
Kelly is really excited about her free stuff...can you tell?
We had sooooo much stuff in our bags that we wanted to buy.  It was a little rediculous.... :)
Miriam refused to wear her skirt in the pictures because she hadnt shaved....haha

We decided to model with the mannequins...Can you tell where we are? lol  I thought we fit right in.....

Video of Logan modeling my scarf....He thought he was pretty funny...

Don't mind the million pictures, I just wanted you all to see all the cute things we got so you would maybe think twice when you say no next time I want you to come and visit. :) As Old Navy's FAB-CAB-U-LARY says...we had a Shoptacular time!  I miss you guys and I wish you could have come!

Date with mom....

Rai has been doing really well in school so far this year.  She has been writing in a journal everyday, and then on wednesdays she has to get up in front of her class and read what she has written.  She was really nervous last week, but she got up ( without crying I might add...I was quite impressed) and read to her class.  Rai is always convinces that kids are going to laugh at her for one reason or another, so I was very proud of her accomplishment.  She was so happy with herself.  I took her on a mom and daughter date to reward her for being so awesome. :)  We went to Krispy Kreme, and because she is Rai, she wanted to make sure and bring home a doughnut for everyone.  Did she want to sit at Krispy Kreme and spend time with mom?  Nope.  She wanted to take the doughnuts home so we could eat them together.  She is such a sweet girl and I am so proud of her. :)
