Since Lissa and David are moving this week, we had to put up our Christmas tree. The problem is, we couldn't find our good tree...all we could find is the 4 ft "Christmas Bush" as Lissa and Zach would call it. ( seriously..Logan is as tall as the bush). We had to put up ugly old ornaments and everything. I am going to the storage unit tomorrow to try one more time to find our good tree. I am bound and determined to put up the pretty purple Christmas tree before Christmas. I dont know how it will look against the blue walls...but at least I will get to put it up!
A few weeks ago Logan got an award in school. He got the award for the best writer. I was very proud of him. There were only about 5 kids in each class that were recognized. Plus...drumroll please... he knows all 55 sight words! hooray! He can graduate kindergarten! I am very proud of how well he is doing at reading. ( Logan's teacher is the one in the pink dress)
Zach started school a few weeks ago to continue on the path for nurse anesthesia school. Zach let Logan help him with his lab. It was very fun for Logan.

I don't know what you have against my pretty blue walls! But feel free to repaint them after I move if you want to. There's paint in the garage!
PS - I think your southwestern couches will look gorgeous against the blue! Hahahaha!
I love all these pictures. But the one of cute Jocy with her ruggedly handsome grandpa/papa is my favorite of all time! I have to come out there again real soon.
Love you all.
Looks like fun times! Your hair is getting so long!!! We miss you guys! Shawn was just asking the other day about Logan...
Did you ever find your "pretty tree" and purple decorations? Looks like a fun Christmas and I do love that pic of Jocy and Papa...
I don't think your tree is ugly at all. Ours got completely pulled apart by the time Christmas came anyway. It also bugs me when people have perfect trees and little kids. Christmas is FOR KIDS so they should be calling the shots. Hope you had a merry christmas!
