Oh... the DRAMA!

So...It has been a while since my last post, not for the lack of things to blog about, but mainly because I havent been very motivated. Lissa and David moved out of their home in Buckeye, and they took their camera with them! I know! So now, I have no way to take fun pictures which makes blogging not fun AT ALL. But, I figured I should at least give an update of the happenings here at the Cresap house. Like I said, David and Melissa moved out mid December, so we are now living in their house until we move to Prescott in a few weeks. I was able to find my pretty purple Christmas tree, so we moved the Christmas bush into the kids room and started a new tradition out of it too. The ugly old Chrismas bush will be coming out every year because the kids loved it. Christmas was great, if you are not counting the chicken pox and the flu we had around my house the week of. The monday before Chrismas I got Jocy up from her nap and noticed a big blister on her forehead. By the next morning, we realized she had the chicken pox( and since Lissa took her camera in the move I have absolutely no pictures), so there went our Christmas with my family. We were stuck at home for the next week and a half. My parents and my younger brother Toby came over Christmas night for dinner, and that was a lot of fun. The day after Christmas, Logan got the flu. The day after that, Railynn got the flu. Good times I know. A few weeks later I found out that we gave the chicken pox to Paisley ( Lissa's baby) and my nephews friend. Oops!... We were also hoping to move back to the east valley which is obviously not going to happen. Prescott here we come! Everything went back to normal for a while, until Sunday... Jocy was coloring at the kitchen table. She had fallen off a chair onto the tile and was crying. I rushed over to pick her up and snuggled her for a minute, Then I noticed the blood on my shoulder, I just thought she bit her tongue or cut her gums or something like that. I looked in her mouth, and noticed that her upper left front tooth was missing!!! Thats right...It was gone. I looked over by where she fell, and saw her little tooth on the floor. I felt horrible. Ane there is absolutely nothing I can do. She will be toothless there until her permanent toorh comes in. Poor girl. She looks like a hillbilly, but at least she is ok. And once again I have no pictures. I am sure in the next 4-5 years I will get a camera and then you can see the toothless grin! Oh..on a side note, Logan has lost his first 2 teeth. (The natural way of course.) Hooray!

December fun...

Since Lissa and David are moving this week, we had to put up our Christmas tree. The problem is, we couldn't find our good tree...all we could find is the 4 ft "Christmas Bush" as Lissa and Zach would call it. ( seriously..Logan is as tall as the bush). We had to put up ugly old ornaments and everything. I am going to the storage unit tomorrow to try one more time to find our good tree. I am bound and determined to put up the pretty purple Christmas tree before Christmas. I dont know how it will look against the blue walls...but at least I will get to put it up!

A few weeks ago Logan got an award in school. He got the award for the best writer. I was very proud of him. There were only about 5 kids in each class that were recognized. Plus...drumroll please... he knows all 55 sight words! hooray! He can graduate kindergarten! I am very proud of how well he is doing at reading. ( Logan's teacher is the one in the pink dress)

Zach started school a few weeks ago to continue on the path for nurse anesthesia school. Zach let Logan help him with his lab. It was very fun for Logan.

The kids have been drving me just about crazy lately. So...we took a trip to the good old park! It suer is easier to handle them when they are having fun!

Jocylain loved the slide...but she didn't like to go down by herself. She would climb up and wait for Jade to come and help her down.

Jocy has been helping me in the kitchen lately. I have to keep her busy so she doesn't get into everything.

I have been meaning to post this picture for a LONG time. I love the picture and I think Grandma and PaPa will too!

November so far....

We have had to seperate our kids from David and Lissa's kids at night because the talking never ends. We started putting all three of my kids in our room. The first night Logan kept coming out saying that Rai was bugging him so he couldn't sleep. I told him to ignore her....you can see that this is exactly what he tried to do. I went in to check on them and he apparently had fallen asleep plugging his ears!

My musical girls...

so...Ever since Logan could talk he has been against me singing. I would sing at the piano or in the car and he would tell me to stop. I think he may have even plugged his ears a time or two. Maybe he just thinks I am terrible at the piano and at singing. *sigh* I tried to give him a piano lesson a few months ago, and he wasn't having any of that either. It really is too bad because he has a great voice! He makes up songs all the time, loves the radio, but he just isn't a music guy himself. But... It looks like I might have some hope with my girls! This is a duet waiting to happen!

Just look at those fingers...they are getting technical and everything!

I always have some random picture in my post that doesn't fit the "theme" so here it is... I looked up some hair- dos online and copied them so that I could actually make Rai's hair cute. Look how great it turned out!

Halloween!!!

ok...so this picture isn't a Halloween picture, but I had to post it! This is Rai's Christmas dress and I made it!!! I know! Isn't it cute??! I will say that the tulle was VERY hard to work with but the dress turned out so great it didn't even matter! I am working on Jocy's matching dress now, and Lissa is refusing to help me...so I have had to do and re-do almost everyhing I sew. I closed up the sleeve seam ( both of them) before I even put the sleeves on. That was a big pain to rip out! I guess that is one way to never make the same mistakes again!

This is Jocy's favorite cupboard in the whole house...Its where all the food is!

Happy Halloween!! We went trick or treating in Lissa and David's neighborhood this year for Halloween ( since.. you know... we live there and all!) It seems to me that Halloween is kind of going by the way side. We walked around the whole neighborhood, and there were only about 4-5 houses on each street that were handing out candy to the kids. Luckily we got a really good walk out of it and the kids still got a lot of candy. They had a lot of fun! Rai, Jocy and I dressed up like witches. I think this is the first year I have dressed up since I have been married! Zach went as a Paramedic ( original I know). We realized that Logans only dress costume that I left unpacked for him was WAY to small..so we had to improvise on his costume. David cut jagged sleeves on Logans pajama shirt and Jagged bottoms on his sweat pants to make a pirate costume. Lissa had a pirate hat that he used...which was good because I don't know that anyone would have known what he was with out it!! Logan LOVED his costume and that is all that matters!

The three witches!

Oh.. what a week!

I had my sister in law take some pictures of my family yesterday...I love them! I have some more of me and the kids that Mindy took of us while we were in Utah.I havent picked my favorites so I dont have any to post yet..I will soon though!

The girls decided it would be fun to put make up on mom. I look lovely I know.

We had a trunk or treat on saturday in Melissa's ward. I only had one costume for Logan since the rest are in storage, and it didn't fit. HIghwater legs and all. SO...he wore this ghost costume of Lissa's and it was way to big. They tried to tie it so it wouldn't drag, but it didn't work. The bottom is black and it doesn't want to come out! I think for halloween we will change it u a bit and he will be a pirate ( which is also a grown up costume...and its a girls..just don't tell Logan that) But it looks really cute on him.

The girls before church a few sundays ago.. I made Jocy and Rais matching dresses and Lissa made her girls. I am in the process of making Christmas dresses now and they are beautiful!!!

Logans Birthday...(and some other random pictures!)

Logan turned six on the 9th of October. I can't believe how big he has gotten. He is so smart, and very giving. I am so grateful to have such a special boy in our family!

The kids watching a movie...I love Logan and Stormie in this picture.

Um...I don't know what to think about this one. Logan hates to do anything girly..so how in the world did Amber convice him to dress up like one?

Logan and his birthday cake.

We made a fun double layer cake. I wasn't strong enough to write with the store bought icing, so Zach had to do it for me. THis is how it turned out. I did frost it myself and even put o few sprinkles on it though!
