Oh.. what a week!

I had my sister in law take some pictures of my family yesterday...I love them! I have some more of me and the kids that Mindy took of us while we were in Utah.I havent picked my favorites so I dont have any to post yet..I will soon though!

The girls decided it would be fun to put make up on mom. I look lovely I know.

We had a trunk or treat on saturday in Melissa's ward. I only had one costume for Logan since the rest are in storage, and it didn't fit. HIghwater legs and all. SO...he wore this ghost costume of Lissa's and it was way to big. They tried to tie it so it wouldn't drag, but it didn't work. The bottom is black and it doesn't want to come out! I think for halloween we will change it u a bit and he will be a pirate ( which is also a grown up costume...and its a girls..just don't tell Logan that) But it looks really cute on him.

The girls before church a few sundays ago.. I made Jocy and Rais matching dresses and Lissa made her girls. I am in the process of making Christmas dresses now and they are beautiful!!!

Logans Birthday...(and some other random pictures!)

Logan turned six on the 9th of October. I can't believe how big he has gotten. He is so smart, and very giving. I am so grateful to have such a special boy in our family!

We made a fun double layer cake. I wasn't strong enough to write with the store bought icing, so Zach had to do it for me. THis is how it turned out. I did frost it myself and even put o few sprinkles on it though!

Oh wow. Where to start.....It has been a crasy couple of weeks and way to much information to possibly type all of it. So...I am just going to post some random pictures of the last month!

This is Rai doing an arabesque as she saw it on the Barbie movieThis is Lissas next door neighbor Frank. He came over, and Rai came running into the room and started hugging his leg. I thought for sure that she thought it was her Dad or even her Uncle David....nope. She just immediately loved Frank. She would stop rubbing his face and put her head on his shoulder. Luckily he is a nice man and Lissa and David know him really well...Even still..We will have to have the stranger danger talk once again!

Jocy does NOT like sitting with Lissa at the table for breakfast. This is a regular occurance at the table. In fact, she doesn't like when Lissa talks to her at all! You would think that she would be used to her by now since we have been here for 2 and half weeks already!

I looked in the closet today and realized that my girls had matching shirts ( Thanks Lissa!). How have I not bought them matching clothes before??!! Isn't it cute? I am going to have to raid Lissa's clothes and make her give me more matchies!

Logan's First Day of Kindergarten!!! WAIT...didn't we already do this???

Logan started his first day of Kindergarten at his new school in Las Vegas a few weeks ago. He was very excited to go after having a few weeks off of school. They started Aug 24th here so we had plenty of time to move and get situated before we had to start up again. They do things a little different here...Logan doesn't have full day kindergarten anymore ( which is a huge bummer - I was very spoiled at eduprize) you have to pay $300 a month for all day kindergarten here in Las Vegas. Not going to happen. Logan doesn't seem to mind though. He loves his school and he has made a lot of new friends and has adjusted very well. The second day of school he told me that I didn't need to walk him to class because " he can do it himself". *sigh* My little boy is growing up so fast!

What a crazy week! We packed up and left for Las Vegas on monday. I have been unpacking ever since... I got a few good pictures of the house. I havent finished cleaning up my room or Logans room, so I was absolutely not going to post a picture of that mess! Here are a few pictures of the rooms I was able to clean up...

We love our home, and we know we are supposed to be here, but we sure do miss our family and friends in AZ. We love you guys!

Jocy's 1st Birthday!

Happy Birthday to Jocy!! Storm turned 1 yesterday! I know I say this a lot...I can't believe how big she has gotten! She has a ton of personality, (and a ton of attitude) :) We are so happy to have her in our family. word to the wise...strawberry cake..not that good...

We woke up from her fun birthday yesterday and it was like she grew up overnight. Today she decided to actually try to walk everywhere. She has been taking steps for a few weeks, but was never really interested. Now, she tries to walk everywhere! She also decided today that she likes to climb on to everything. My other kids never really did that, and I don't know how I feel about this! It probably doesn't help that I have boxes everywhere for her to try it out on....
